Post by: dazmond on October 25, 2011, 07:03:29 pm
i use 6mm microbore but whats the advantage of using 8mm?less chance of hose freezing on the ground?

im used to the 6mm so i cant see me getting the 8mm.

pure freedom dont sell 100m of microbore so i think ill be getting some from window cleaning warehouse.

the gardiners hose is knackered after 6 months use! :(

I use 8mm minibore I got it from the cleaning warehouse (wolverhampton) around 18 months ago, its served me brilliantly so far no splits, or bubbles doesn't kink either.

Better flow rate with 8mm, less resistance to pump meaning pump runs slower for the same flow rate which in turn means your battery lasts longer (if you use a controller that is)
