Title: Filling tank from kitchen.

I was in B&Q the other day and saw a hozelock tap connector and thought that it would be good for winter incase the outside tap froze but  i was wondering could you not just fill your tank from the hot water tap and have hot water all day or would the water be too hot for your di vessel or the water tank?

yes you can do it jonny and no it isn't to hot but it won't stay hot all day

try connecting to the washing machine taps undersink  and then connect a hose pipe,  this is what i do

Roy harding tried that last winter. don't think was much above lukewarm bt time went thru resin tho.

So does the resin run out faster if you use hot water?
