I have a 50 gpd RO and i have a pump before the R O and i still only get 50ltrs a day pressure is fairly good from the tap HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

			-
are you running it from your WATER MAINS pipe, or from a header tank in the loft
my guess is that might be the problem

			-
				2 litres per hour?
1) Go back to the company you bought the system from.  Tell them.
2) Check water pressure.
3) A pump from your mains water into any system is against
Regulation 31 "Materials in contact with potable water" .
that may not be an issue for you.  Check 1 and 2

I have a combi boiler and all the water runs through this so the mains pressure may be affected   NOT SURE / ??? :-\

			-
Is your cold tap coming through your boiler system?
Or do you have a separate mains cold water supply?
You need to be coming off that mains cold water to start with.

I have found a separate stop cock in the down stairs toliet which comes before the bolier and the pressure is much greater as l'm unable to stop the water coming from the outlet with my finger. Thank you for your suggestion l will let you know if the problem is resolved. Matt

				thats the answer
your running it from your loft tank
find a stop c o c k as it comes into the house, then follow that pipe it you can either cut into it (using the self cutting bit of kit that comes with the system from RO MAN) or a B&Q DIY washing machine tap kit OR outside tap kit
this will give you the pressure you need

			-
Thats what iv'e done but its only giving me 45psi
but then weve always had problems with low pressure in the shower when the washing machines running

			-
Don't shower in the washing machine.
Or when the machine is running

you might stil have a cold water tank
the combi will only be for HOT water
ive only worked on building sites for 15 years as a carpenter
todays house do have a cold water supply tank, its s.posed to feed the toilets etc etc if all flushed at the same time etc

			-
well i must have a doggy system then cos there ain;t no tanks in my house and i have only been working in the electrical game along side plumers for 14 years etc etc.
Once again thanks for the reply.

just to clear things up a little, no you dont need a tank in the loft for a combi, however some houses can still have a cold water tank supplying all cold draw off points except the kitchen sink which has to be supplied direct from the mains therefore as has been said the best place for a R/O would be just after the mains stopcock, or taken from the cold supply pipe to the kitchen sink.

				and i didnt say stopthingy i said stopc-ock  ::)
