I was told here to estimate 10 feet per storey. So for a five storey building; 50 feet!

If there is brickwork on the building, I sometimes count the bricks. Four courses to the foot. Don't forget to allow for the pole being on the diagonal while you work.

5 floors
that'll be fun
i would take a guess that your looking at a few quid aswell for the pole

I did a 4 storey load of flats the other day with my 30ft pole, it was just long enough with me having to have it at chest hight, they were also fairly low tops to the windows.

i think you should get yourself a 60ft pole then you dont have to worry about it reaching and its always there, happend to me a couple of months ago our pole was a couple of ft short so we had to go and get a 65ft pole lucky enough since then we have booked another couple of jobs where we need to go that height so its more than paid for itself, anyway good luck.

P.S
I paid over £1000 for it from Brodex brilliant pole but not cheap ???
