Heres the question do i buy the extra section and make the 18 to a 22 or buy a new clx22?

its worth every penny,it your main tool and you use every day.you notice a big differnce using a slx.if you cant afford a slx then you need to look at your price or how many house you are doing a hr.
@£300 fo a slx is £6 a week think about it.one extra house a week,no brainer really

SLX is worth well over 10 times it weight in gold - worth every penny ( and if AG isn't lurking - worth double its price )
i have a clx 27 but if i cant reach a window with the SLX i'd sooner go get a a set of steps to reach than get out the clx
- good poles but for heavy handed employees only

The slx is lighter but it's also much more rigid, meaning much more control, easier to use & the motion from your arms is transferred straight to the brush. It's also harder wearing so it will last much longer than the clx.
I use a slx-25 for everything from ground to 30ft. White Xtreme brush & swivel. This pole does 95% of my work, I have an Xtreme-48 for the rest.

So would you advise me to get the slx 22 as i like the fact it has a small closed length!
i have 2 extreme brushes
2 superlites
1 cill from gardiners which i prefer!

The size choice is down to you mate, I like the slx25 because it can do so much with that bit of extra reach & it's not much longer closed. I would also buy the new resi-neck swivel, with a swivel the closed length doesn't matter as much because you can clean the window from any angle with the brush still flat on the glass, even from the side in confined spaces. ;)

not at all just deciding if it is worth going for clx22 or slx22!
i don't think i need to advertise for gardiners as i would say theres lots of posts about them as they do the best poles and brushes imo!
