Title: TM servicing

I have mine done twice a year by Alltec, with all the bad roads around here and the usage I feel a professional putting their beady eye around it keeps the wheels on the cart.

Engine Oil change, air filter, oil filter, blower oil, regrease blower, change pump oil, check all seals and replace where needed. Gets descalled every month, waste tank is cleaned out on a weekly basis and waste tank filters on a daily basis. Hoses always get wiped before putting back on reel and all get washed once a week. Wands and hand tool filters all get cleaned once a week. This works for me and ...yeh is time consuming but my time is free and I do not like to pass on sevice the charges to my customers. I bet some of you even pay to have your vans washed aswell don't you. Is there any wonder you have to charge high prices. ;)

These days with all the computers and electronics running things that leaves very little beyond basic servicing that needs to be done. We keep a complete hour log of everything that is done to the Titan from oil changes, new parts. Plus it's a 700 mile round trip to Hydramaster to get it serviced and they don't even have the software to communicate with the onboard computers whereas we do.

Never costs me very much and although my business is small fry to them if i had a major issue i know they would help me out of a muddle

It would be great if there was somebody skilled in Stoke or with in 20 miles to do it !?

this is a negative on TM's if you cant do it yourself but the positives far out way the negatives

A TM is basically a water pump, a lawnmower engine and a blower all connected up. The engine can be sorted at a lawnmower specialist and the pump at a pressure washer service centre. Now not sure about the blower but that rarely goes wrong and only then if you cock up on checking/filling the oil.

HP hoses can be sorted by any decent hydraulics place.

Yes I do it professionally that is! Got the certificate to say I am city & guilds qualified are they???? ;).

In my spare time I also do LR discoveries (Wayne’s), Peugeot 307 (wife), TR 4/6, Aston martin db4 convertible (1/3 part owner), Volvo 264GLE, mk2 lotus Cortina, Ex repatriation van, Honda 125, Kawasaki 550gt (all mine) then I’ve got a few porties I repair for local cc these are the biggest nightmare by far and who said cc ant rocket since ???

Thought HM had someone up your way
