Hi all,
Just interested to know if anyone has or does advertise on their local radio station. I'm seeing a rep from mine tomorrow to see what they have to say. If you have or do or have thought about please let me know.
Kind regards,
Jason.

Hi Guys,
I had a quote for this in 1990 , it was fortunes then.
I spoke to a couple of tradesmen who had tried it and they said it wasn't worth it.
O.K if you are trying to build a brand but not for CC's.
Work out how big a YP ad you could get for the same money or how many leaflets.
Cheers
Doug

Hi all,
Thanks for your opinions, I guess its a no then :D.
Funny enough I did a clean for a driving instructor this morning who's recently moved into the area and he advertised for a month on the same station, 10 short ads a day. He had half a dozen enquiries but no work as yet. It cost him £700!
Thanks again for the replies,
Jason.

There is a chap advertising carpet cleaning on Spire Fm ( Salisbury ) who lives in Fordingbridge, don't know who he is or how its going but he's been advertising for some time now.
PS. Says it all really, I hear the advert frequently and I still don't know the name of the company!!!
-
That sounds about right, I change stations when adverts come on when I'm driving around.
Its too expensive to try on the off chance, better stivking to tried and tested methods.
