Nearly finished off a round today just 4 jobs to go but out of time so normally I would just go back and do them tomorrow but then it has a knock on effect for rest of month - what does everybody else do ?
I could go and do them tomorrow morning then drive to start next round but would basically loose half day by doing them then driving to next round as few miles apart.
So do I look after the customer or do I follow the dosh and start next round ?
-
Do them in the dark 8)
-
Leave 'em a month.
-
if you dont look after the customer you wont have any dosh to chase mate
-
if you need the money go where its best, otherrwise nip back tomorrow, could you not pull in a hour or so each day to get your time back,

Im lost, what do you mean?
May I hazard a guess? Do you allocate a particular day in the month/week/rounds cycle for each property to be cleaned in?
-
il do them for ye tommo mate got a slack morning till nocking in afternoon :)
-
do them tomorrow mate.i try and work my round from a-z in the same order give or take a few 8 weekly stand alones.surely 4 jobs wont take you that long to do?then move on to your other work and try and speed up and get them done all in one day.surely you dont have that much work that you have to work flat out 9-5 every day?
if you do you ll get fed up with this job.try and be a little more flexible.itll do you good! ;D ;D ;D
-
i have to say i am lost as well ??? ???
if they are your customers you just go back and do them
its a no brainer
or carry on missing people out "this month" and watch your round wither and die
-
If your round is that full that you can't catch up on four jobs you will have big problems when the real bad weather gets here ;D ;D
if you dont already work saturday or sunday do them then simple
-
its sorted ians give em me ;D ;D ;D

Sorry thought I had explained it but been a long crappy day :(
Basically got 4 jobs left on this part of round so if I return to area to finish them and then drive to next round it will cost me money by too much driving so loss of time on the glass ... 2 areas are fair few miles apart ... normally I would just go back to area not finished, did them then go onto next round but just wondering what others did.
i.e. look after the customer or look after your pocket

no you didn't ???
but then if you do start at 11.00am and finish at 12.00 what do you expect ;D seeing as your min price £40.00 :o

approx 40 miles or an hour so about 3 to 4 houses

or carry on missing people out "this month" and watch your round wither and die
think that answers it really
so been doing it right all this time ;D
-
Do them the next day.My round is very compact,300 properties, all work is in 4 villages covering an area of approx 3sq miles. So easy enough to say do them next day.
-
Don't really think you needed to ask this question did you? What you gonna do when you buy all that extra work too?

-
Why have you got work that spread out?
work in 2 areas ... 2 weeks in Wales and 2 weeks in Chester ... yesterday was end of work in Chester so now 2 weeks in Wales - well popping back to do these 4 jobs first.
-
2 weeks in Wales and 2 weeks in Chester
My suggestion would be to go back and do the jobs then in future work harder at the beginning of your round so not to leave so much to do on the last day!
-
DO 4 JOBS N WORK N SAT IF U HAVE TOO
