I could do with hiring a pole off someone for a couple of big one off jobs i have had come in. I could struggle with my slx25 and ladders, but ideally a pole of 40-45 foot would be good (at a guess). bigger if needs be, its only a few really high ones i cannot reach, a good sized gooseneck on it would be ideal too. Anyone got one they fancy hiring out?
-
Makes me wonder why you took the job on when you can't do it?
Ladders & slx25!

Hey Chopsie,
Do you do much work in ashbourne?
Dean

my thoughts would be..
1. I haven't got a pole that high, so I'll have to buy one.
2. I can't afford a pole so I'll sub the work to somebody I know.
3. Tell them I can't do it.
Not come on to this forum asking to hire a pole, It's just ridiculous.

L.Hill.... your spanner !
Sounds like you're too mate after reading your story in the mag..
Unlucky..
-
Thanks for your help prick. I can do the job off ladders if needs be its no big deal, I can do the job thats why i took it on..........TWAT
-
why is it ridiculous asking if anyone got a pole to hire locally which might be stuck in the van for days earning nothing ???
I see this place is still full of retards, thats why i never come on here anymore
-
well get up that ladder then and break your neck.
and don't forget to put your john wayne boots on.
-
Why don't you just buy a pole?
That's all I'm getting at.
Even if the job doesn't cover the cost of buying it.
-
Oh so only cowboys use ladders? At this moment in time, 2 one off jobs with about 5 windows between them does not justify me buying a pole i would never use.
-
owwww!! shes in a bad mood
nothing wrong with askin to borrow a pole people lend poles out all the time round here its called HELPING EACH OTHER

Only coyboys stand on top of a ladder with a pole.
It's unsafe.

What a shambles of a site this is.
Someone asks to hire a pole. Not borrow, or beg, but hire, and gets panned.
Not a pleasant place to be these days.

Why would asking to hire a pole be "ridiculous"? Do you rent anything in your life or do you always buy? If it's a job he's going to do once or infrequently hed be mad not to hire if he could. And if I was local Id love to get cash from him for a pole that would otherwise just sit unused in the van. Everyone wins. Or is that "ridiculous"?

gets a bit silly on here,i would hardly say the chap was panned
for asking ,its only one stroppy old girl that got her knickers in a twist
she obviously has some issues...be kind and show
some tolerance ;D

chopsie did you get this sorted
i have a 50 ft pole you can use, you will have to pay postage, buts its yours if you want it
