Title: Rememberence Day.
Post by: Dave_Lee on November 10, 2005, 05:29:40 pm
Let us not all forget at 11am tomorrow Friday 11th Nov and Sunday at the same time. Wherever you are, I will mountaineering in Scotland, but will never the less, stand in silence for 2 minutes reflecting on the great debt we all owe to those ( including my own grandfather) who gave their, tomorrow, for our, today.

Hi Guys,

A few years ago on a trip to Brugges I went to Tyne Cott cemetry , which was incredibly moving.

Later we went to the Menim Gate.

I recommend everyone does the war cemetries  at least once , it opens your eyes.

I visited the Allied War Cemetary in Kanchanaburi, Thailand many years ago. Impossible to keep dry eyes there.

Lest we forget.
