Title: 4040 Ro casing

Can anyone tell me how to open a 4040 casing, I have developed a leak and cant work out how to open it.

I have removed the large white split O rings, but cant work out the next move.

Anyone help ?

Twist the inner plastic cap anti clock wise. Can be tough so you need to be strong. Is the wife about to give you a hand ;D

Thanks Guys

Removing the membrane doesnt look like it will cure my leak.

I am leaking at the join between the white inner tube and the the 4 - 5 inch end cap, which houses the inner plastic cap. That part doesnt look like it will unscrew.

Good job I have got 2,  4040 RO's

I will investigate further
