Title: travertine floor with ink stain
Post by: clive ware on October 18, 2011, 09:23:32 pm
Hi,
A good customer of mine has a filled travertine floor and his son has spilt some washable ink on it which has stained the tiles and the grout. Is this something that can be removed. I need to let him know and find someone who can do it!
Cheers,

Clive

You could try hydrogen peroxide applied via a cloth if the floor is a light colour

Poultice powder mixed with a suitable spot remover to break it down.
Mix it into a paste and apply to the spot.
Talc and solvex might work.
Leave it to draw the stain out.

Jackhammer and a trowel full of mortar, they'll never know it was there ;)
