I would love to stick to just poles and brushes but thousands of our clients would find it difficult to get the water to the brushes if we did this ;D
You probably have had the previous soft hose we were supplying which whilst many clients loved I personally found too soft. We have now replaced this with our new 'standard' pole hose which is slightly less soft and is much more durable. If you have bought your pole with hose recently then please feel free to ring up and request a replacement length of pole hose of the new type.
We are still supplying the previous softer hose though as, although I personally prefer the slightly stiffer standard hose, many of our clients really like the previous softer stuff and want to continue using it.

The softer hose was very easy to handle but splits far to easy when caught on sharp objects ie bramble bysh curb corner etc...
Quite like the new stiffer pole hose..... BUT not as easy to handle first thing so both have their pros and cons...
Think its all down to personal preference..
Moral of the story, dont knock it untill ya try it ha ;D ;D

I'm using it & prefer it. No problems here although I find it best to use barbed inserts for any push fit connections. ;)

I agree, a stiffer one is best.

the new stiffer hose is sound.

Might be worth supplying both...

I thought mine was a bit dodgy when I first had it, but it has settled down with use
