Hi all,
i have decided that my vivarro SWB van is just to small, and i am looking at buying a new or second hand LWB high top van. Citreon Relay or the Ford Transit i am looking at but open to any suggestions please?

i own a new shape relay great van to drive relatively economical for the size would i get another not a chance its so un reliable and have a spent a fortune on repairs from flywheels to turbos you name its gone wrong getting rid next year and getting a crafter . I am not the only one who i know has probs with the new relay .

Blimey, glad you posted that Richard.. I have thinking about changing to a Relay/Ducato L2H1. :(
What I want is a low roof lwb, so what would you suggest. The Crafter/Sprinter is too tall for me.

yeah, thanks richard...........thinking twice now against the citreon

The l2 is mwb anyway

LWB semi high top VW transporter... excellent van thats if you can get away with semi high top...
Go for a T30 or T32 to ensure a minimum 1000kg payload
The 2.5 130 bhp engine pulls like a train and will return up to 43mpg on the motorway

The L2 H2 is the one i have med wheel base medium roof great van to work with space perfect drives great but like i said mechanics are awfull. I bought one because for the size van they are cheaper than most but like the old saying buy cheap buy twice.

Sadly there's no such thing as the perfect van. Nobody seems to have managed to get the full set with fuel consumption, space, load capacity, reliability, ease of repair.
My personal preference is the Ford Transit, yes they rust, but for reliabilty and ease of repair I prefere that route.

what about the LWB VW Crafter???
