HI, I am Hope someone can help me, I remember some time ago reading that a C/C had used a Ashcombe Elite.
I have just got the Elite 11 Drivalet, But i know nothing about it, It as with it a Upholstery attachment, But can it also be used for carpet cleaning?.
I have with it Prochem B140 Solvent. can it also be used with wet extraction chemicals.
Any information that anyone could give me really would be appreciated.
Thanks Dale

Hi Dale,
The ashcombe elite 11 drivalet is a dry cleaning machine normally used with a suitable solvent like the one you have.
The seals etc in the pump are made of viton and therefore can be used with both solvent and hot/ cold water.
If you are going to clean carpets with this machine then you will require a carpet wand.
I think that I have a similar machine some where in the garage and it an exact copy of the smimvak toto machine so spares can be got from a Stimvak agent.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for reply so quick.
Are the carpet wands generic for every machine, in other words do they all fit each other or do i need a paticular one for the Elite?
Thanks Again
