hi guys,
Was wondering about steam cleaning, not just carpets but in general!
Have been told by many a folk that steam cleaning is good for removing bacteria and other allergy type things. wondered if you guys might know anything about the subject.
Reason i ask is i am am cleaning a top floor of a restaraunt later in the week, carpets flooring surfaces, bathrooms etc, and they have had a pidgeon problem for a while. Basically there is bird poo everywhere. and obviously being an eating establishment they need it sterilising.
Would steam cure this problem?
Thanks guys, hope business is going as well for you guys as it is for us at moment!
Kind Regards....Ian

Hi
Having been in the pest control industry, in a previous life, you should be aware that bird droppings carry a whole host of diseases. By disturbing/moving or cleaning up the mess it can release particles into the air, which could result in lung damage, if you do not use the right equipment or have the correct PPE (not wanting to scare you!).
Therefore if your customer has not had a qualified pest control company clean up the mess first then you may want to make a call to someone in that industry to get some advice - BEFORE YOU START CLEANING. If you let me know what area you are in i might have a contact for you.
Regards
Tina
