2ND time this year i have been accused of scratching glass. The first one was in March on a flat 3rd floor, when i went in to look they were form a painter she was trying it on as she was selling her flat and looking for a full-guy. Tonight booked a job in for tomorrow and the guy said we have noticed a few scratches on a few windows. They had all the windows replaced in the spring and now the sun is low and showing imperfections they think i have done this,I just can't see how? its virtually impossible to do with WFP. I'm starting to doubt myself. No debris in the brush No grit on the edges of the brush I just don't Know

best thing is go round there
give them the brush and tell them if they can scratch the window in front of you, that you will pay for it
they wont be able to...you will have proved your point :)

Just tell them that the equipment you use is specifically designed for cleaning windows and that it does not scratch windows. Give them a go, if they don't believe you.
And remember, window cleaners get blamed for everything. I was recently blamed for the Vietnam War, the outbreak of the Bird Flu virus in the Far East, the increase in fuel duty and the rising costs of an ageing population.
Deny everything, if you're sure you didn't do it.

Just a little update, i went to look at the so called scratches at the guys house. He wasn't in but his wife was and said i really dont care i can't see them. OK so can you point me in the direction of the scratches. She did and said i think he said at the corner of this one. I looked and found marks on the inside of the glass which are not scratches. Ok i tell him. I went back to see him when he was in, and told him what i had found and he then accepted that it wasn't me.
