what length pole would i need to reach the velux on the roof i think a 45ft but thats just a guess
also what would people charge to do it all, there are 6 windows to the right of the picture & 4 side windows in total & the back is built up a level so can be done with a clx 27 as there's no velux
-
i should of added all help much appreciated
-
do velux form inside and save a load of hassle
-
42ft plus 4ft reach plus adjustable angle to reach over the bottom of the roof windows.
Some allow 10ft per floor those look like 9ft.
-
I use a 45ft with gooseneck as the clamps catch on the gutter if not
-
Wouldnt bother cleaning the velux ... you'd have to clean it whilst in the middle of the road !
-
Velux what bxxxy velux ? oh that one !
still doable with an adjustable. ?
-
I can see 3

listen to jeff youl be rite ;)

thanks a lot, lads who are doing it dont do any of the velux nor do they go between the bars on the lower windows but the residents are being charged by the lease company for them to be done. i've got some houses nearby so they asked me to quote on 'em
any one got a price for something this big
-
The trouble is they build these houses and nobody thinks how the windows are going to be cleaned. Its not worth buying a pole for the one job.
Don't bother talking to the people in the houses if the job is being paid for by the landlord. The landlord appears to just want the cheapest and if you get it you stand to lose it again at some later date

your right but theres another block round the corner being done by a firm from liverpool now i live 5 min away so im sure i can price it better & get both of them liverpool's 70 mile off by the way
