After you've cleaned someone that's paid you in advance and you know they're not home do you leave something to say the windows have been cleaned or let the windows speak for themselves?
-
Most definately leave a slip ... some of mine are away from home for weeks / months on end so want them to know I have earned my money :)
-
I hate being paid in advance . . . . . the money is nice, but then when you clean it you feel like your doing it for free !!!
Yes I know illogical thinking, but I cannot help what the voices in my head are saying !

Yep I know what you mean. The person I have in mind has paid me 6 months in advance... 5 'free' cleans!
-
makes no odds to me!if they pay in advance then so be it.i never think im doing the job for free as i know ive been paid already!makes up for the slow payers.
some of you just like to moan FOR THE SAKE OF IT!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
as for leaving slips when they have paid in advance.i always do with the date of the clean clearly written on it.

I thought this topic read Advance Prayers! ;D I know theres a lot of devout window cleaners on here but not sure if I can agree to advance prayers!
-
Yeah, always leave slips, even if they are not away they may not realise you have been, or how quickly the months go by...... keeps a paper trail for them.
-
Always leave a slip with date on just to prove you've been, no argument then.
