Use mine everyday, for well over a year. Not a bad return for a £15 pole!

Great value pole, I use them with some odd shaped brushes etc and as a back up pole.
I wouldn't want to use them all day, every day, I get fed up with the twist locking - prefer a lever

To be honest I think they are rubbish, they don't last very long as the clamps ware quickly, did use a few but only lasted about three weeks before the clamps started to play up,they are light but do yourselves a favour and buy a decent pole,if I was to use Harris poles and nothing else the money I would spend replacing them every 3 weeks I would get a decent pole cheaper, for those that say theirs has lasted well over a year is talking rubbish unless of course they only use it once a month! :P.
I used mine all day every day for about three weeks before the sections would jam or the twish clamps thingys would'nt grip, you get what you pay for. ;D

I use mine all day every day, 2 of us do...they last us about 12 - 18 months at a time. And no im not talking rubbish!

Youve obviously been tightening the clamps to much, you dont need to over tighten em, just a pinch is enough. 3 weeks! What were you doing lol  ;D

I love mine, wouldnt buy any other pole.

If you are using it as converted to WFP - can't see it to last long. I only had my CLX for around 2 months and you can see it is tired, if had to use harris (which i have) wouldnt last even 3 weeks.

Its what you get used to using,

I have used harris poles, fishing poles , the lot.

But they all ended up as back up poles.

The fishing poles, i got fed up of dropping sections on the grass, and trying to avoid treading on the sections was a pain.

Harris poles are ok , but again, the twist action became a real ball ache, and they eventually stuck,

The lever poles are the best by far nowadays,.. i use the gardiners clx 27 foot,... closes down to 5ft, and light .. and long enough to do most jobs.

I think most of us have tried the cheap poles and ended up disgarding them as back up poles or binned them.

Trust me, if you can afford a better pole, get one...!

and you will look back on a harris pole barely being able to believe .....you actually worked all day with THAT.

 ;)
