Well the bloke from Speedy Hire recons that if the job takes less than 30 mins you are allright to use a ladder, I assume from that it takes longer than30 mins to fall!
Seriously though, it was really nothing more than an advert for speedy hire and nothing conclusive was gained from it yet again.

I think we should all mail speedy hire and say how dare he say those things, confusing the public and making me look daft to my customers.
He said if you are self employed you are only answerable to your self .You try telling the hse that if you fall on top of a pensioner or a babys pushchair.

I GOT THROUGH TO THE QUESTION DESK UFORTUNATLY SOMEONE ELSE WAS TALKING,SO I HAD TO HANG UP.

My question was to the hse guy, asking him to come on to this forum and answer questions cus its them that have got us w/c in this state of confussion, cus they are that many grey areas the hse would have it all on to prove a case against us,if you had a good lawyer, its all down to quess work and that cannot be law.
law is deff guide lines like you dont drink and drive, you dont do this you dont do that.
all they are trying to do is cover their backs cus these laws  wasnt made for w/c and an after thought they were addeared to us.

the no smoking law to be imposed, has the same effect,  a darts team gives food out during a match ,does that mean you carnt smoke?our local serves food on dinner times, and at the weekend, and does a  roaring trade, for two hrs, when the diners have finished they move on leaving the pub quite empty
except the locals, now do they stop the meals or stop the regulars going in,at the moment their is stickers throughout the
pub stating its a smoking throughout pub.Doesnt stop  the diners coming in their droves.
