Title: those with digital flow controllers
Post by: Lee Pryor on October 10, 2011, 10:42:51 pm
the kind that is like the gardiner liquid logic and the one pure freedome sell.

I have these branded from yet another company.

the calibration number is the sensitivity at which the controller cuts out the pump when the flow is stopped.

I want to know what the lowest setting is you have, with which it still pumps the water up to say a 3rd storey window.

cal 45/flo 60.although i sometimes turn the flow down to 50 for delicate wooden windows.

think i should set the cal lower as i keep getting DE detection and the pump keeps turning on/off while this is flashing.does this mean i should turn the cal down? ??? ???

daz this is my problem, yet its happening constantly right now.  After speaking to pure freedom if it flashes de they recommend increasing the cal.  The higher the cal, the less sensitive it is to air bubbles etc

the pump should stop start in pulses with a de reading which is normal when the cal is at the right level . but most set their cal at 30 i have mine at 25 and my flo at 50 with a decent pressure and flow .

Dazmond you must go through a fair amount of water with the flo at 60 .  MIKE
