Actually, Nat's is a 6l version not the 8l one. If I remember right, some one said that the 8l heater heated the water too hot if you didn't have a fairly high flow rate. :-\
-
I knew I'd read it somewhere. ;)

I reckon the 8L one will be too hot for frosty winter mornings, even on minimum heat,.. I had a 10L heater previous, and the minimum heat was too much,..
I'm getting it direct from Amonstar in China,.. they reckon it'll be perfect for wfp as it is, but are willing to custom build any design changes I want so long as I buy 50 or more at a time.

how is the heater working Dave? could you tell me if its ok with a low water flow? thanks bee
-
The heaters that we have in stock are really good value for money and are so easy to set up. They also are the newer models with no 20 minute shut off.
-
sorry forgot to say who we are ;D we are www.windowcleaningequipment.co.uk. thanks
-
is that a l5? what is the min water flow on them? thanks bee
-
The minimum amount of pressure needed is between 20 and 80 psi bee. yes they are the l5

I had one,.. it only lasted 8 months and the ignition box failed (it looked heat damaged, so obvious design fault).
I've now got a Fogwash,.. worth the extra money IMO.

Oh yea I remember that post. Wasn't there a fire as well?
-
No fire,.. i think that was someones L5,...
-
I wouldn't even entertain that coming from China! I never buy anything made in China. It'll probably catch fire.
Sod that!
-
Then Traps you cannot buy much at all as just about everything is made in china. Aften just labelled in other countries.
-
That's why everything is made to a poor standard these days then.
I'm mainly talking ebay, and everything I've bought from China has been a cheap copy or junk.

Better not get an L5 or Fogwash then! They both come from China. :P
I'd say that quite a few things made here in the UK is of much worse quality. You just need to make sure what you see is what you get. Make sure they go by IEEE standards, CE marks etc. You can't possibly judge a whole country, any business or product there as being junk or copies. There are over 1 Billion people there. That's ludicrous.

Whatever.
