Title: A Retail how much
Post by: S.A.J on October 09, 2011, 11:26:00 am
Morning everyone, how much would you charge to clean this shop front?

Will be interesting to see the difference in prices  :P

I already put a price in and got told tooooo dear!!! some of you would have got some of these stores around the country!!

Outside glass weekly
Inside glass monthly
sign monthly

its inside a shopping mall

out of 4 stores I had to quote for this is the one that let me down but it was the hardest one to clean.

Glass both sides of shutters  ;)

Right side of main entrance

Outside glass £10-£12 weekly (atleast)
Inside prob bout the same(along as you haven't got loads of obstructions)
And sign about £10...

So I'd saaaaaay about £68 monthly to make it worth parking up etc..
Can be quite time consuming I reakon??  ;)

Prob be a bit cheaper if you had few more stores in the complex??? :)

Charge for your time, from basically from the minute you park up to the minute you leave.

Your overall job time will be probably double your on the on the glass time.

Used to be a guy I heard of in the shopping precinct that would charge shops a quid for there small shop fronts per day, and every day he would be there at 7am before they opened do 200 odd bits of glass and walk back through and collect his quid off everyone. Home before noon.

Lovely story that! Happy days

i agree with dean stay well clear come on what is the point of doing it where will the profit be ?parking walking in the mall then its all gona be trad too.

retail shop fronts only work if you are very cheap and have alot as a matter of fact i had a call from a shop front recently 2 shops in a row inside and outside outside wont take long with wfp the insides would take a little longer trad ,but considering driving parking, etc said £40 told her she has to pay a booking deposit via bank transfer and balance upon completion, i wont be sending you an invoice then waiting 60 days like most window cleaners, i went on explaining you can have it 2 monthly rather then weekly so it would save them some cash.,she couldn't believe how relaxed i was it appears most are fighting over any commercial work, she is also assuming that she can call me on Monday midday and have me in Hammersmith when ever she likes. because she must speak to her boss first its crazy stuff...  i could be anywhere , and i have a route to follow ,

I remember quoting for a top shop of similar size.  I made a mistake in the email and said it'd be £4 to do the outsides.  I still didnt get the job!

Dave its a Top shop in the pic

No they did not accept my quote

I put in £20 outside ( £10 left £10 right) still think that price was too cheap was originally thing of £30

and £20 inside

If it was not in a mall than I would have put £10 in as too wfp that would have been a easy 10 mins work , but I,m not going to trad all that for £6/8 NO WAY!!!!!

Working it out I would want £250 per month, rounding it down.
