I've just read this and thought some of you who work from home would find it interesting.
Moving into an office is a big step when you run a small business or start-up.
Serviced offices provide a flexible solution for small businesses and start-ups and will provide the professional environment you need.
Here's how to get the most out of a new office.
It costs less than you think
Licensed offices have no initial capital outlay and maximum financial risk can be as little as £250 – that’s one month’s rent.
If you’re not happy, then at the end of the month you can put your paperwork back in the car, back up the computer and go back home.
Motivation
Do you lack the motivation to get out of bed? Is working from the kitchen table, in the dining room or makeshift study getting past a joke?
Working from a clean, tidy office with a separate kitchen (cleaned daily by someone else), the latest technology and professional meeting rooms could provide the extra motivation you need to take your business to the next level.
It’s easier to stir up the marketplace when you’re in the middle of a thriving and diverse business community, get involved and interact on a daily basis with other business people.
Image
Business premises have a huge impact on people’s impression of your company. You could be attracting low profile or poorly paid work because of the perception clients have of your business.
Offices in business centres come complete with office furniture, fittings, flooring (and plants) and will be professionally decorated for when you arrive. There are separate meeting rooms to meet clients in a professional environment, and catering from tea and biscuits to a buffet lunch can be arranged on site.
Network and socialise
Many self-employed professionals are conscious of the isolated nature of their work. You probably get far more done in one day alone in the office, but human contact is very important to your professional success, as well as your sanity.
Serviced offices provide business communities where interaction with other like-minded business people is actively encouraged.
Focus
More than half of small businesses cite finding and keeping good staff as the hardest part of their job. It’s important but often detracts from your main job – growing your business.
Serviced offices provide friendly and professional reception and administration staff. They ensure your business is in good hands while you are working or focusing on the things that will add further value to your business.
Better still – you don’t have to find them, pay them or motivate them – just smile occasionally, because when they are happy, you’re earning money.
No technology hassles
Serviced office providers offer a complete range of solutions covering internet connection, networking, security, support, and the latest voice and data technology.
That means no shopping around or waiting for installation or support contracts.
Stay in control
With flexible terms of occupation, you can grow and adapt your business one step at a time as your circumstances dictate.
Every time you outgrow your office, business centres can supply additional space, take care of IT and telecoms connections immediately with no downtime.
Enjoy fixed monthly costs making budging and administration so much easier.

Many thanks for putting that article up, as ive said in an earlier post, i am just in that situation where iv'e outgrown my temporary office in our front room and need to move.
I think there are more positives than negatives in moving into a serviced office, its got be beneficial, i think you can become to comfortable and lazy working from home, if you really want to progress then it must be the next step forward.(only my opinion)
