Im sorry to say mine only lasted me 1 month before the plastic housing broke ,i ending up paying a friend to weld it all together at a cost of £20 its now ok , but the hose which connects to the reel will spin as you reel the hose in this causes the hose to spin putting strain on the hose and will aid it to twist and tiny holes could appear , also because its always spinning its hard to explain but the connector becomes warn eventually when you go for a walk with the hose in your hand it just pops out if you walked say 40 meters , or more once i walked 100m as i had a few to do on the street i ended up walking back .. to refit the hose,
i was going to call to complain about the reel and also wasnt a fan of the adaptor they sold me it broke in about 2 weeks. but i like the gardiners team and love the poles brushes etc , sounds crazy but i didnt wana give them grief all in all i guess u get what u pay for i have had a gloria trolly for 2 years its about 7 years old no problems.
im going to have to replace that hose reel i got soon cos its getting on my nerves when i do it will be a hose reel over £150 maybe a second hand gloria something that is very durable!

Yep i second that, the Claber reels are lovely.
-
We use the blue ones; God knows who makes them but apart from the paint peeling within weeks they work well enough.
-
Calber reel really good but for some reason the brass elbow i fitted had become loose and when i pulled on it today the hose reel ended up rolling down the street towards and across the road LMAO but apart from that good reel no complaints. MIKE
