Title: Electric Blanket

Talking to a guy tonight (not a windie) who has loads of equipment in his van overnight.
In the winter he says he puts an electric blanket across everthing overnight which keeps the van frost free at a low cost.
Much of his equipment has water in so its a similar problem to ours.
Anyone tried this?

An oil filled radiator on low is cheaper I believe and probably a tad safer too. Too much electrical coil to have something go wrong in the blanket. It is a good idea and would work well I think but not as convenient or cost effective as an oil radiator.
