Title: Aqua dapter, my new thoughts
Post by: Lee Pryor on October 06, 2011, 11:34:08 pm
I had a mk1 which broke fast, they then sent me a mark 2, which for one reason or another sat in my unit un used for some time.

Last week I thought I would give it another go as I think its a great invention.

I still think its very clever. But... It may only add a bit of weight but because its at the business end of the pole I think you really notice it. I also notice the length it adds when closed in a tight space.

I ended up taking it off and didnt miss it or the water it would have saved.

Dont get me wrong im still a big fan.

Aquadapter, please make a mk3 half the weight and half the length or less and im in!

Lee - think you'll find they are currently working on it.... ;)

the mk 2 was defo a step back weight and length wise for me & preferred the mk 1

i have made a little mod that should help the weight/length issue and allow a quick change if you want
to add the gardiners c'f goose neck

i have just been to busy to test it out - maybe this w/end

ive got used to mine now.i  prefer a bit of extra weight on the end rather than a loop of hose at the base section of the pole.less snagging.it really is a joy to use.only thing is after a while it takes two pulls of the hose to turn it off at height sometimes but its far better than a pole tap IMO.

if they can make it shorter and lighter ill be defo getting one.the pole hose that comes with it is the best ive ever used.no annoying twist up the middle of the pole restricting extending.that used to do my head in at times!!! ;D ;D

the flipfast they sell is great too!easy adjustment of the angle adaptor.very quick.it all helps in the smooth action of wfp cleaning day in/day out.

I didn't get on with mine at all; I took it off and work with external pole hose.  I can nip the hose anywhere I can get a handful of it.  And when working in a tight space, it's dead easy to remove the brush head and just hold the head in my hand.

Best wee toy since Scalextric, however they wear out and have to have wee diy modifications done to keep them in perfect working order. Would be real pain not to have it though.
