I have a small 200gpd RO unit with a booster pump.
It produces 210 litres of 000ppm in 4 hrs.
Is this an average time?
-
no thats pretty fast from my experience.
how highs the water pressure going into the RO.
-
what size pipes you using , some muppett set mine up on a really small diameter hose from the tap it was dribbling , changed to a bigger diameter , now gushing out , 210 in 4 hrs is pretty good . lol 8)

Pressure going in at 60psi.
I originally bought a 100gpd osmotics ro, thinking it would produce enough.
Later added an upgrade. It now produces twice as fast and the waste is reduced as well.

That sound good for a 200 GPD RO.
I've got a pumped 450 GPD RO and that does about 250 ltrs in 4 hours.
-
GPD means Gallons per day, that should help you work it out.

not really, i have had 3 RO's now, a 200, 450, 600.
My 200 made 12l an hour un pumped.
My 450 made 50l an hour pumped
and my 600 makes 90l an hour pumped.

The GPD rating is in US gallons which is less than a UK gallon (stupid yanks)
And that rating is at optimun pressure and temp too .... so you wont get the max gpd as im sure i read somewhere that the opt water temo for an ro to function at its best is around 22 degrees water temp (dont remember the pressure)
Id be happy with 210L in 4hrs - i have a 300gpd that produces 1000L in about 2 days - it is unpumped and im not on a metre

My pumped 300gpd fills a 210 ltr water butt in little over 5 hours, so thats pretty good.
