Title: 100% acrylic rug

Hi everyone got a heavily soiled 100% acrylic rug to do nxt week what would would be the best and most effective method of cleaning ...still not 100% confident when it comes to rugs so any help would be appreciated cheers craig

Be careful some of these are the ones where the latex breaks down during cleaning and stink to high heaven. It is not reversable either.

Any photos? I would clean a very small area and see if it starts smelling. If it doesn't then a normal clean will do it, good vac, pre-spray, agitate, dwell and extract.
Warn them about the odour problem first because even that small area will be pungent.

does the back of the rug have a cloth material or not?

Just to add to your worries some tufts have a habit of coming loose and lifting.  ::)
