Title: LWC's vid for threading harris pole

anyone find the vid that LWc posted on how to get the end cap threaded to take brush?

just heat the end cone up and turn the brush/ angle adaptor on, nothing complicated mate you don't need a vid

the first time I did it I didn't even use heat just brute force, but a lighter, heat gun, boiling water, hair dryer maybe would do

am getting the harris back out this week, not used it for a couple of weeks and i love me harris its hard as nails and good for run of the mill work ;D ;D ;D ;D

I wouldnt be without my harris! As you said bee hard as nails...£15! Cant go wrong, and since being able to extend it ive pretty much made my £800 supalite redundant.

tried heating it up for about a minute and it isn't very good at all. might buy another nose cone

i did push it right in and then screw it on. gonna giv eit another go but the nose cone is now resembling a melted wellie >:(

 O R C  I have a Harris pole that extends to 25 foot in total, at this point you will loose control of the brush.

I found it a terrible way to attach a head. I cut the top off and attach a screw end

 used the thickest pole from two old poles to extend and added a 14 inch to the front this works as a gooseneck or will extend the pole a foot.
Ask Sensia to tell you folks I am not very good at describing what to do.

I have just seen a shorter Harris pole which will make a good ground and first floor pole.£ 14 only.

I now have to hose on the outside of my pole so i can quickly attach other sections. Works really well, ive got 3 other sections i add to it as and when i need it.

plan on doing it. 10mm hole under the  rivet at nose cone should do it i reckon

cut off 1inch from the tip of the cone , before heating and rethreading for a better fit
