Title: Kinky hosepipe ... any recomendation for a replacement
Post by: Ian101 on October 03, 2011, 08:14:33 pm
The hose on my No1 reel - microbore - has been kinking for ages but just put up wth it but today it sprang 2 leaks so gotta replace.

Would hate to buy a new that is prone to kinking so any recomendations please fellas ?

When I moved to a reel I went with minibore. Never get kinks.

Pole hoses kink when they get older, a new hose solves it for a while then you change it again. They are only about a fiver.

about 10 metres in which not a problem if 100m but for lightness its only about 60m  :(

Why not cut the 10 off and then have a 10m pole hose extension for when you need it ?

Would be cheaper than buying new hose and be even lighter ;)
