Post by: Russ Chadd on October 03, 2011, 06:59:29 pm
Just looking to see if anyone would be interested in this product? at the moment there is no UK importer distributing this product so i am looking into possibly buying a load of them.

Please let me know...

they cost 99$ in the usa, they say that when you import from the states you change the dollars to pounds to get an approximate cost once the taxes are added so at £99 pound they will be a great buy,

I must say its very public spirited of you to offer to do this for your fellow carpet cleaners

Woodbridge are the Mytee distributor for UK are they not?

Hey... im just curious to see how many of you guys like the look of the lint hog, if we do a "group buy" we might get them at a better price?
If Woodbridge are the UK importers... why are they not stocking them? in fact no one in the UK appears to be stocking them.

yep, they really are a good filter. they come in 2 inch or 2-5inch, the clear plastic ones are rubbish, the lids break and the inlet & out let are restrictive to airflow.

I have a clear plastic one and it's been perfect. Mind you, a ham fisted gimp could possibly break it, especially if they tested it out with a lump hammer and a bad mood.... ;D

Passers by and the customer get to see all the crud passing through the clear one, I can't recommend them high enough...

There is a vid on YouTube of one of these getting thrown off their roof and driven over by a truck.

He tries to list everything, but you'll find most suppliers don't list everything they sell... Because they sell out so quickly probably.....

Ring him tomorrow, I'm sure he said he has one in....

The see-through ones that Colin is referring to you can see on the Hydramaster UK website under their on line shop.  Price £119 including the stainless steel insert.
Solutions probably get them from Hydramaster as they share the same premises.

Lint hog - as Mike said, normally take the dollar price and call it £s delivered to this country - however shipping doesn't just go by weight but also volume. These things are bulky so allow for more than £99 for the hog
