Just back from a quote 7.5m x 4m chemdry quote £75.00 then check emails and got asked if i could beat these prices
Livingroom & Stairs and Hall £65.00. Bedrooms £25.00. Rugs £20.00. Fabric 2 seater sofas from £30.00.
theres a big price war going on and groupon isnt helping matters.

i did a job last week, a guy opposite asked me how much i would charge for his h/s/l 1 bedroom lounge and a bathroom, i said will come and take a look , "no i have had it done yesterday all for £70 ,but not happy "
i would have been quite a biy more than that i said, then he hit me with the words ,
Not bad money though only took her 20 mins ;D
he is ringing me in future he says

I had a similar thing with a lounge/dr.
Got it at £60, then he told me someone did it
last year for £25.
When I said I didn't know how they make money
at them prices he said it only took him 15 mins
from start to finish.
Not a good job though and damp for hours.

Goes to show there's a market for everyone, and those who have experienced the cheap version next time are more likely to pay the higher prices by those who do it properly.

honestly price is only one of serval reason a customer takes into account get the rest right and price concerns dissolve

we had have a company in edinburgh ,quite fly they phone up and make it sound if their there regular guy
ie me but have got special offer on £25 st carpet £10 every other one , we charge £45min then £25- £30
every other one just depends on size and area , then continue to tell how crap ajob it was , and how quick they where , tell you some times i wish i never had aheart

saying that I picked up a nice we Bar carpet to clean every 6 weeks today, at a higher price than they have been paying ;)
