Post by: Russ Chadd on October 01, 2011, 03:06:13 pm
Looking to add an inline filter to my Airflex turbo, can anyone recommend one? must me good quality and be able to filter out carpet fibres before they reach my recovery tank.

Cheers

Hallo,
you can get yer paws on a Lint Hog via a company called Superior Cleaning Solutions based in the USA.
They have recently sent one over for myself, the price, with a few other bits and peices plus carriage and import duty was still less than the price of the clear type filter, you can get over here.

You can order it via there E-bay shop

regards Daren.

Have you had a look at the 'Devastator', Mike?  Think Joe Bristor sells them at the most competitive price although then not as cheap as the Mytee one.  But it does cover most options - ie if your running 4 to the door it allows you to ditch the 'y' splitter and also allows for 2 or 2.5" pipes

If you go onto e-bay.com NOT .co you will be on the US version. Type in Lint hog and you will find the company. Then save it into your UK my e-bay page. Postage was around £30 but that included a few other items. Import duty was also about £30 which seemed a lot, but was still les than the UK price.

Someone makes up metal box ones which are a bit pricey but will last forever, someone will know who I mean. No good for demos though.
