Does anyone else look forward to the winter? As much as I enjoy the heat of the summer, I still love the baltic mornings and freezing days out on the round. Gonna be my ninth winter out window cleaning, but jetting off to Austrailia for a couple weeks in Novemeber so gonna top up the tan first :)

I prefer the cold weather, I sweat my balls off in this heat ;D
-
I tell all my customers I prefer winter. Even if I tell them while I have sweat literally running off my chin they dont want to believe me.
-
yep rain and cold weather you cant beat it
cant stand this heat.
thank god most of the year its reasonably cool
-
I hate the stiff pipes and equipment of the WFP, last winter was the first winter with it and at least when it was minus 20 we knew we couldnt work. Wouldnt mind upgrading to hot system but wont be affording that for now. I lorry drive 2 days a week, normally weekend, and i love the cold weather then!
Went to New zealand in jan and feb this year for 5 weeks, but weather wasnt so bad then as was pre xmas. Have a great time mate over there, 2 weeks doesnt seem enough tho!

Roll on winter cannot stand the heat just a few more hot days left hopefully
-

'bout 18 - 20 all year round would suit me. With gentle rain at night so as not to wake me ;D

Love the heat.
Off to India for bike ride in December, Egypt in January, and again in April. Won't suffer the cold too much this year. Not that it's going to be as bad as the last two winters anyway.

And you never got hands using a ladder with an easterly wind?

Well glad I am not only one that hates heat I agree over 20 is too hot at least in winter you can put extra layers of clothes on theres a limit to what you can take off in summer
-
I started a year ago yesterday. Couldn't believe how easy the winter was! Been looking forward to it with these hot days. Don't mind the heat just embarrassing sweating like a pig. Plus drinking lots and having to keep asking the customers to use their toilet is a pain!
-
I hate working in anything over 23 o 24. So I'm in the wrong place because summers are usually quite hot here. Winters are bloody freezing nearly every year. Overcast 20c is perfect.
Love working in Spring and watching everything turning green again.

not like this
also with wfp i get painfully cold hands in temps that my hands are fine with traditional
it must be something to do with elevated arms reducing blood flow??
