Title: Top Tips.
Post by: Colin Day on September 29, 2011, 04:20:47 pm
I thought I would start a thread in which we could share some tips.

I'll start off with a way to stop damaging the QC's on your solution hose from dragging them on the ground. When you wind your hose down at the end of the job, keep the male and female QC's together then coil down.

Also, I use a pair of vehicle fishing rod holders (suction) and I stuck them to the roof of the van [inside of course] Now my wand is secure and up out of the way and there's room for another wand if you are greedy and have 2... :D

Come on, any other tips to make life simpler....?

Hi Colin the only one that comes to mind is as soon as you get to a property agree with the client what is to be done and if its a cash payment job remind them then so there is no WILL YOU TAKE A CHEQUE MATE when you have completed the job..............Alan(swindon)

When in the pub drink half your pint then rub your first finger of your right hand between your buttocks then go to the bar manager with half filled glass in right hand  and offer it to him with first finger near rim saying that your drink smells 'off' he will then go and get you a full refill for free.

Put some deodoriser on a terry towel and run it along the radiator (if its on) to make the room smell nice and fresh after cleaning.

"wow thats a nice painting"

"i love these types of dogs"

"what a beautiful kitchen"

"is your mum in" ;D

you have to mean it though, i find something interesting and mention it, breaks the ice and gets a good convo going. if you can't make them your friend, then you'll struggle to make them a regular.

thats my tip

oh and pull the pipe off the end of the wand  to do edges especially under rads. all though i guess most do that so nothing new. also good for getting bits out of the end of your glide, not that i use a glide though. ::)
