Title: Pre filter help

Hi all,
I have a 450 gpd system normaly the water level on the first part of the ro is full.
When I turn the water off and it stops at the tank the water level at the pre filter drops to half full.
It's only just started this help

could it be air in the system??? :o ???

could it be the water pressure as it has to maintain a steady flow.

It happens to my filter all the time. I don't think its a problem as if you close of all the water supply off it would draw water back.
