Head torch, snowshoes and tyre chains - no problem. You won't look at all desperate!

We canvassed all the way through winter and had good results as the summer windies drop out and people who r genuine custs will want a wc whatever time of year. and we leaflet propoed as we went with gutter cleanin on the reverse this also gave us a great start to spring. hope that helps and gud luck

Think we picked up more work last Oct/Nov than we did in the summer. That's when the summer brigade jack it in.

autumn and winter are the best times to canvass in my opinion this is because the customer will last all year round ,

its the ones that come on in the spring and summer that u need to worry about as they might say "see u in the spring" , thats when you say great see you in the spring too ! when march , April or may? March is 2.5x the maintenance clean april is 3x and may is 3.5 times! then they say oh why :(? its great i love it :)

totaly disagree there. night time is so much better to canvass. for 1 you dont waste time knocking on peoples doors who are out. im currently building a 2nd round up and am half way there from canvassing 6-8. i find any earlier people are still on way home from work etc. i wouldnt waste my time doing it in the day.
