If you google " business link " along with your area you will find some really good free courses from starting business, to expanding and obtaining finance.
My wife has been on one of the courses and was very impressed ;D
Did I mention they are free ?

This won't cost you a penny. (but if you like to make a donation that's OK with me.) Get work, earn money, make a profit, put tax away every month make sure it is enough pay stamp, keep good accounts. Job done! :)

Here's some free advice, don't forget your annual company return. £150 fine for starters >:(
Do your books religiously and don't give the man any excuse to get on your case ;)
And never ever buy a car without doing an HPI check :(

Don't try to run a business straight away focus on doing what you do as well as you can do and the business will begin to build itself
A business is not tax vat staff etc etc that is like saying window cleaning is about the van the ladders the soap no window cleaning is knocking doors asking and gettting the payment you want and doing it as best you can then as you start to earn an income you will naturally progress to "running a business"
If you do want to read a book you can't beat the E-Myth
