whats wrong with just a tap on your hose, the pump pressure switch will cut it off.

i am using the KR80 pump pack , i dont  think there is a pressure switch fitted , when i used to use my PF trolley it would never cut out , the  pressure would just back up ,   thats what is happening with my current pump pack when i turn the tap off on hose ,

Thats why i thought a  remote would be my best bet ,

any contact details for jeff brimbles,    thanks mike

the KRS80 is fitted with an automatic pressure switch but it is not cutting out ,  surely it should but even if it did overtime it will become damaged surely ,    MIKE

the pressure switch should cut out the pump as soon as triggered, there will be no damage if the switch is working properly.

There is a radio remote pump control available That would achieve what you are looking for.

I bought a remote switch that goes on the + wire from the battery. I've drilled a hole through the roof of the van and attached the sensor to the roof rack.

To me that seems a lot easier to cut the current than do whatever with the pump or am I missing the point somewhere?

I have remote on mine, thru Fleabay bout £20 3 or 4 years ago, great piece of kit bout 100 meter range.
easy to wire up, I run it along with a varisteam, works great, saves water loads, but I reckon a trigger would save even more!

Just google 'remote control switch'

this one is ebay USA but same unit as I use;

ive used a remote on the pf trolley for a good few years now you will need a extra antenna to improve signal but otherwise they work well, my mrs uses the trolley theses days she hasn't found any issues i also used same set up on a backpack also worked well again antenna needed, make sure its correct frequency or it will suffer you will find what you need here forget ebay use this http://www.simplesolutions-uk.com/catalog

Also thanks C-Thru thats the one i was looking at the other week but struggled to find it again .  when i fit the unit it will be under cover in pickup all locked away so tape antenna to tank ,   MIKE
