-
I would have said 13 was low even if I was using a ladder never mind WFP,
-

-
i did 1,437 today all 3 bed semis mind you i only haslf 45 mins for lunch

If he has only just taken the guy on then its unfair to time him yet.
When I take on any new starter I dont expect them to hit full potential till they have been with me a couple of months at least.
Its not all about how long it takes to clean a house. you have to take into consideration many things, such as knowing where the streets are, where each house is, the best place to park to be efficient, will the gate be locked, which pole do I need round the back.
lots of little things make a huge difference over of a day.
We have a company round here offering "free garage door cleans" on every job. If you work out how long it takes to clean a door and multiply that by how many jobs per day, month, year, then your talking hundreds if not thousands of pounds lost. (if your wondering, I recon about 60-70 seconds per door)
If you work on 60 seconds per door, and 15 houses a day over 5 days a week 20 days a month, thats 75 minutes a week or 300 minutes a month, 3600 minutes a year.
So potentialy for a week and a half every year they are working for free.
Like I say.... little things make a difference (if you dont believe me ask my girlfriend) ;D

Not every house would have a garage door tho surely ???

my rounds still quite scatered but can still do 15 in 5 to 6 hours!
Theres days where i have compact work where im doing 5 houses per hour,it all depends how scattered your round is!
-
on my very compact estate work i can knock out 25 houses if i work 9am-430pm(30 mins for dinner).these are only cheap accounts so its usually £150-£170 a day.better than nothing but ill have to put em up again next year methinks.

Depending on travelling around
at £10 per house between 20 & 25
at £20 per house somewhere around 14 to 18
-
Last wednesday i did 22 houses, and brought in 500 quid.
good day that was. im aiming for every dsy to be like that constantly.
-
£500 only just about covers a weeks rent in surrey doesnt it stockclean? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
how old is the guy? if his 50 he wont work as fast as a 25 year old the chances are he wont want to.
i am 50 i tend to do 18 -22 a day buts that's because its my business,if i was employed and getting an hourly rate i would probably do 15.
does he get a hourly rate if so maybe a price per job rate would increase his turn over
-
lol yeah, its flippin expensive down ere!
-
the guy must be around late 20s he get a percentage of what is done my mate is not chuffed with it too so i said just get rid and find some one else.

Not all have a door, but many have two. so it would roughly balance out. (in this area at least)
