Title: Commercial Building: problem windows

Quoting a commercial office which has a very awkward run of windows that I could do with some advice on.

It has a ledge of approx 6ft under the second floor glass, making it impossible to see/access the bottom 3ft of glass. The ledge isn't load baring, and cherry picker access isn't allowed.

Also none of the windows open, so can't lean out.

What are the options here?

Really stumped!

Can u reach it from roof with pole or too high ... Rope access obvious answer but prob not worth it for a few windows only other is to not clean em if owner ok with that .... If u go down route of doing it from roof or higher windows then make sure pole tied off securely and prob best doing it at weekend if poss

Going from roof down wouldnt be an option as there is a balcony above it.

I guess there is no such think as a 7ft gooseneck?!

As ermergency gooseneck 2 brush to pole sockets plastic thingys are ideal but to make a 7foot one I calculate u would need about 28 to 30 of em all screwed together

Concept,

Second floor as in 2nd or 3rd storey?

If its 2nd storey you'd need to hire a small alloy tower to work from something like this!

how high is the ledge, can a ladder give you access,  use a wfp and charge for it

could you not use a long gooseneck, clean the top, up the flow rate and just rinse the bottom 3 foot and explain this to the boss?

Split level building, so at parts it's 1st floor and parts 2nd.

No cherry picker as it would be cost prohibitive.

I've warned the contact that there may be some issues, and he is fine with that, however, I don't want to rule out at least attempting it.

A heavy rinse was my 1st thought, will see if I am successful and if so, share an image of the panes in question.
