hi all. i have tech clean flat surface cleaner. been on hols for two weeks and took me ages to get it to spin. now it will spin up to speed at low revs but on full wack it slows down and stops. there appears to be full water volume through the nozzles. using a 250 bar pressure washer. any advice please as need it tomorrow.

Ged,

The tiny "O" ring in the spinner head has most more then likely blown.
Jan has spares, I had to replace mine this year.

I noticed leakage on the nozzles so put ptfe tape on also let water flow witout a tool attached to get rid of any air locks. I eventually got it working by repeatedly pressing trigger it very gradually returned to normal. I have had this problem a couple of years ago and it gradually got worse and eventually the rotary head blew apart and was never really able to get to the bottom of the problem. I will speak to jan to see if she can shed any light on it.

Thanks Roger for your comment it sounds likely. Do you need a set of circlip pliers to access the mechanism as i seem to remember having a hell of a job dismantling it last time this happened.

Can't remember if I used circlip pliers, but yes it was a bas**rd to get off, just remember to re-grease afterwards.
