Title: Pure Freedom hot question
Post by: Pure Glass on September 21, 2011, 08:36:02 pm
Looking at adding this on, although 3 grand is gonna hurt a bit.

Does the @6 hot water system protect the ro? I know their system can recirculate the water at - temperatures as a frost precaution, but would it protect all the casings and filters/pump-or will I still nedd to heat/insulate the van?

Ta, Steve

Got the pure freedom hot system. In the winter I start it when leaving home and run it down my hose reels and back into my tank so the hoses are hot and don't freeze on the cold paths. I think they do a frost protection that brings a blower in and keeps all the filters atc warm. No more iceing up?

Thats how much their heater is mate

Good bitta kit, but very expensive. After a few chats tonight, think i might go down the Fogwash route and insulate the van and get the oil filled rad up close-all for £400 max

First winter with a van mount and very concerned about the ro and filters. PF's suggestion is buy one of their heated systems to get through the winter-but they would say that!!

I'd rather pay 3000+ than be sued by staff for dangers of gas within a small enclosed area.

Sole trader, and I have an ext bt transit with a flue extract through the roof already, so think a fogwash might be my answer

Thanks though Craig
