This quote from that web page:

"We have a three-year business plan that will change as VoIP technology changes. It is a fast-moving marketplace and we do not have an exit plan, as too much will change in the next few years. Opportunities will determine our exit plan if we should require one. " .

I suppose that could be open to interpretation depending on how you read it.
Hopefully, if they are getting into telecoms, they will be subject to a regulator.

I doubt thats any thing to do with Wcp as ian is the main guy at Wcp and brad was brought in to help, there's no mention on there of ian and I know ian is working on compas180
