Title: paying a canvasser
Post by: combat1 on September 20, 2011, 05:35:17 pm
Thinking of trying to get a canvasser going.
What is the usual way of rewarding them,  hourly rate or so much per job gained when it pays?
I  thought of offering 50% of the first clean price when they pay, most of my jobs are £10.
Thanks

1.25x the 1st clean, paid when job sheet handed over, if I did it the way you suggest he wonuldnt get paid on some occasions for 5 weeks..

If you get a knocking company in then check all the jobs before (that its the stated frequency and they want a regular cleaner) also get a contract in place as to regards replacing custys that cancel after first clean.

Pay my guy £10 per hour for 2.5 hours, hes happy with the £25 he receives.works out at 25% of the work he brings in.He averages £100 of new work for me each time he goes out.Happy days ;D
