fleece with embroidered logo, black combats, goretex jacket and boots and thick socks. rubber gardening gloves with cheap surgical type gloves underneath.occasionally i wear my glacier perfect curve gloves if its really cold.they keep your hands toasty but make them sweat!(and stink!!).

i try not to wear gloves at all but the cheap gardening glove/surgical glove combo protect your hands from cuts, dirt and cat/dog muck!! :-\ :-\

Thermals and neoprene socks feet end up sweating my feet are that warm as for gloves dont waste money on expensive gloves they dont work once they get wet even if they say they are waterproof , same as dazmond ,  good sturdy walking boots they all get wet after a full day in the rain , and half decent waterproof jacket.  MIKE

i recently have bought a big selection of gloves ready . enough that if 1 pair get wet ,theres plenty of dry ones to put on . some are nitrile, some leather ,some rubber with cloth lining. i bought them at the market .

Last winter i bought leather gloves from Toolstation and they  were very good for trad in ice . ive bought some more of those too
