Hi have the windows on a new build to do next week, could someone tell me the best method to remove the protective tape that cover the frames all help appreciated

Finger nails and rip it off. It should come off easily enough if it's new; however, sometimes if it's been left on for a long and been baked in the Sun, it'll be a right bugger to get off - it'll keep tearing into small peices rather than come off in one strip - and will/may take about ten times longer.
But normally/usually, it comes off easily.

as above...it should just peel off...some bits stick into joins in the frames which are slow going...but on the whole its an easy job

If its been on a while warm it with a heat gun / hair dryer and then upvc cleaner to remove the glue residues

That's a good tip; thanks.
