Had to order a replacement clamp for a brodex pole I sold as one got broken, clamp £10, ok I thought, go to checkout, £7.50 plus vat for postage!!!! :o. Gave them a ring to get the postage reduced as the clamp will only weigh a few grams, I get sorry that is the price and we can do anything about it!!!!
Make you appreciate companies like gardiners even more. This is for you Alex :-*

I guess that will be your last purchase from the B word then Lee

I can think of 2 B words, but I get the impression so can you :o

I dont use them anymore, had no end of troubles and issues with em.
Ended up falling out with Sean and thats that really. Overpiced, unhelpfull and rude company.

Glad to see the back of the 3 poles i had from them ... lifes much easier now !

Tell it how it is.......
I too have had to have a replacement clamp from Brodex but had far less problems with them than I did Gardiners......& far less attitude!
I've also had far better service from Ionics as well!
I'm sure I'll get some backlash but that's what I've found.

Sorry Craig ::) I should have given you a mention :), if you sold brodex clamps I would have driven to you. Don't think I have forgotten you!
My brother has moved up your way at the beginning of September, will be sending him you way when we need the everyday supplies, unfortunately you don't sell anything with the G word on so I have to go to a different supper for these items :'(

I know it's not ideal but in a situation like this I might perhaps order a generic product to make up the order. For instance, a bag of resin is something you will get anyway one day and it wouldn't tie you in to Brodex in any way. Doesn't have to be a bag of resin. Maybe a few plastic flow controllers or another generic consumable. Order enough and they might even do free postage.
